This is a very welcoming place, the funny-looking pink yardratian people welcome all students to learn the skill of instant transmission. It takes 20 posts here to learn Instant Transmission, and it counts as one of your Dojo Techniques. Instant Transmission will allow you to teleport to any character on the same planet as you (unless they're an android), or to a village or city on the same planet (unless they have too low a population). Using Instant Transmission in battle takes 1 turn to focus before you flicker out and disappear. You will re-appear beside an opponent or ally. Note that this consumes a lot of ki/energy, so don't use this too much. If you do not have the 'Ki Sensing' ability, you must take 1 extra turn to be able to sense any ki signals to teleport to, and then take another turn for teleportation, totalling 2 turns. Upgrade to Universal TransmissionIf you have at least 10 s, you can learn this. It takes 10 posts here for the upgrade. This allows you to teleport to other planets by focusing on the ki signals of other characters or the collective ki signals of cities and villages far far away. You can even get the the Kai World or Demon World using this technique! Doing this takes 2 uninterrupted posts, however, so using this in battle is pretty difficult. Not only that, but it eats up a major chunk of ki/energy, so you probably won't have enough to use this anyway if you've been fighting for a while. Instant Transmission AttacksAny Dojo Technique that isn't 'one use per battle', doesn't use life force, and doesn't ignore Power Levels, along with your Signature Technique, can be upgraded to use Instant Transmission. Remember Goku's Instant Transmission Super Kamehameha, right in Perfect Cell's face? Just do 10 posts here (or anywhere else where Instant Transmission is taught) trying to mix your technique with Instant Transmission, and the upgrade will be done. Just put 'IT' in front of the technique's name in your technique list. Note: Using an 'IT' version of a technique takes 1 extra turn for focusing, and a fair chunk of ki/energy, just like when you use Instant Transmission normally.

1. Blaze saw an odd place in the distance as he traveled in from the dense plains. It appeared to be a city of some kind although the denizens were like nothing he had ever seen before. He thought he was weird, but these people were pink.

2. As the building labeled "School of Instant Transmission" came into his view he wondered just what these people would say to him, an outsider with no warning coming to train with them.

3. Blaze finally arrived at the steps of the school, although it appeared to function like a makeshift dojo on Earth. However the Yardratians outside weren't grimacing or unfriendly, they all seemed quite happy to be where they were and often offered warm smiles for Blaze as he passed.

4. Blaze managed to offer back a smile of his own as he passed a particularly happy Yardratian standing just at the top of the stairs to the School of Instant Transmission. Blaze took another step heading for the oak colored doors.

5. As Blazes finally reached the large oak colored doors he pressed slightly, they did not seem heavy like on Earth but he wondered why they were so dusty. As if no one had used them in quite some time.

6. "You must be new here" a voice called out as he pressed on the dusty doors, that cringed a teeny bit as they swung open into the school. "Why do you say that?" asked Blaze nonchalantly as if he belonged to be here

7. "We'll it's obvious that your new here." said the man behind him before Blaze had turned around. "And how can you tell that?" said Blaze still without moving his body or hand away from the door, wondering what the guy wanted.

8. "Now that is a very simple answer" replied the random Yardratian. "And that would be?" said Blaze somewhat frustrated at the beings choice not to answer him directly but instead continue talking his way in circles.

9. "Simple." the Yardratian replied with a whoosh sound heard in the background. Suddenly the doors were opening slowly in front of him and there seemed to be someone standing there blocking his entrance "You used the door." he said chuckling

10. Blaze looked at him slightly befuddled. He wondered how the Yardratian had gotten from behind him to behind the door but he figured it would all be explained in due time. So he sat for a minute and told the Yardratian "Continue....?"

11. "Well you see..." he sort of trailed off as he began to teleport behind Blaze and by other Yardratians. "We here on Yardrat have mastered the ability of teleportation and are quite fluent in it's use, so no doors are necessary." He finished. "They are mostly for show."

12. Blaze nodded and said "I think I understand then." there was a small awkwardish pause for the next few moments before Blaze asked the Yardratian "So how might one go about learning how to do this?"

13. "Oh that is also quite simple my outsider friend" the Yardratian said "I should be able to teach you all you need to know about the Instant Transmission technique." he finished. Instant Transmission eh? thought Blaze as he sat on the steps of the dojo

14. "If you are ready we can begin right this moment" said the Yardratian to which Blaze immediately jumped out of his seat. "What's your name?" he asked his new Yardratian friend and trainer, "I'd like to know the name of the one training me."

15. The odd pink man then said an odd sequence of sounds Blaze had never heard before, he figured it was the Yardratian language. The pink man then said that it roughly translates into the Earth language as Rick. Causing Blaze to think back to his initial dojo trainer.

16. Blaze wondered what the odd connection was between all his dojo trainers and them being named Rick but decided not was probably not the time to look into this weird ass coincidence but rather to press forward into his training.

17. As the walked into the school Blaze could hear all manner of students from different classrooms practicing the odd technique. It seemed to be done by focusing on their KI and just flickering. It was hard to explain to Blaze at first.

18. It took the pink Yardratian man named Rick a good several hours to explain all the basics and follow up with the nuances of using the technique. It required much concentration, which Blaze found easy now that he had mastered his space meditation.

19. After several days of practice Blaze had mastered the instant transmission technique. He began to flutter about the school and his new trainer... Rick. Rick applauded his efforts and said "I can teach you no more"

20. Blaze smiled at his trainer and thanked him for his help in the matter. Rick replied "No problem, no problem at all. Just make sure to come back and visit sometime or I might have to come visit you." He said jokingly. Blaze agreed to come back and visit and the transmitted to Earth

1.
Cajabe approaches the doorway to the School of Instant Transmission, feeling quite accomplished with how he found out about the place. "So this is where they teach the technique?"

2.
The yardratians sat outside don't seem to be willing to look at Cajabe, considering the reputation he has already gained here, although they do not seem hostile. "They're such a peaceful race, even though they clearly hate me."

3.
Approaching the doors, Cajabe places his hands upon their surfaces, and gives them a push... they seem creaky and unused. "What the...? If this technique was so special, then why would nobody come here much..."

4.
To his surprise, he finds that the building is pretty well filled with many of the funny looking pink people. And more are flickering in to view as he looks, and others flicker out of view.

5.
"Wow..." "This technique... it's some kind of teleportation! This is... this is PERFECT!!! Haha! Now to learn it for myself!" Overjoyed, Cajabe steps deeper inside the building.

6.
Cajabe observes as many yardrats place their fingers to their foreheads and flicker around the place as if it were some kind of game to them. It looks so easy.

7.
"They're placing their fingers to their foreheads... perhaps that has some purpose... they wouldn't simply just do that for show, now would they?"

Cajabe begins to ponder this little issue, and places his index and middle finger to his own head... "But now what am I focusing on exactly?"

9.
He stands there for a good minute or so, with his fingers on his forehead, getting absolutely nowhere... "Gah! I don't understand this technique at all!"
