1.
Cajabe flies in through the skies from Hercule City, and realizes... "Wait... is this going to be underwater?!" This is going to be annoying.

2.
He finally reaches the point where the signal is coming from, and grumbles out loud... "Damnit! It really is underwater!!!" Isn't this just wonderful? Right?

3.
Cajabe takes a deep breath, and dives down in to the depths of the ocean... swimming deeper and deeper, being protected by his massive power level from the crushing high pressures below.

4.
Getting deeper and deeper, Cajabe leaves behind all the sea creatures that you would normally expect to find in the ocean, and finds that the light is getting too dim to see through.

5.
Cajabe stops, and floats in place for a while... his breath still held... he realizes he's just going to have to light this place up if he's going to be able to see any further.

6.
He focuses his ki, and allows is to burst around his body in a burning golden aura, which flares around him wildly to light up the murky depths.

7.
Cajabe now dives deeper, realizing that he's going to have to get this done fast. He sees a glow down below him... another light source other than himself.

8.
Cajabe finds himself going straight in to a volcano - the light source... and is glad for all his power... the temperatures could easily kill someone down here without the protection of a Super Saiyan aura.

9.
He can see the orange sphere lodged in the side of the volcano, the only way it would still be here without having been ejected... "There!" Good thing, too, because he's running out of air.

10.
Cajabe swims down to the Dragon Ball, and sees it has 2 black stars in it... "Yes! One of these ones...!" But as he reaches for it, he hears and feels a rumbling from below... Immediately he begins to focus on ki signals in Hercule City.

Cajabe grabs the Dragon Ball with one hand, places two fingers to his forehead with his other, and completely vanishes just as the volcano erupts from below him.

Post by Shiro on Jun 12, 2009 20:36:45 GMT -5
Shiro flies to a rather open area of ocean, with the mainland only just visible on the horizon. He looked down at the water below, floating closer to the surface and trying to look through the waves to find the red fish Korin liked so much. It seemed that, for the moment, he had forgotten about Issilude.

Issilude rode in just behind Shiro, stopping next to him. He watched from above as Shiro stared intently into the water, looking as if it held the meaning of the universe. "So, uh, what'cha lookin' at?"

2. Shiro looked up and waved Issilude down. "My friend really likes red snapper, and if I bring him one, he gives me something called a senzu bean. It's basically a super cure that fully heals whoever eats it."

2. Issilude floated down to Shiro as he was told. He listened to Shiro's story, nodding at the end. "So, you're looking for a red snapper?"

3. Shiro nodded. "Yeah, that's basically it." As he watched he removed the two swords he carried, handing them to Issilude. "Hold on to those for me, please?"

Issilude took the two blades, slightly surprised by their weight. He sat there for a moment, watching Shiro stare at teh water, before asking. "What's a red snapper, a type of sea turtle?"

4. Shiro looked up at Issilude, eyebrow raised. "No, it's a fish. Why would you think it's a turtle?"

4. Issilude shrugged. "Well, where I'm from they have things called snapping turtles. I figured you might have different types that you name by color or something."

5. Shiro shook his head, turning back to the water beneath him as he answered. "We have snapping turtles, too, but we just call them that, 'snapping turtles'. There aren't any snapping sea turtles."

Issilude nodded. "Okay, so what exactly does a red snapper look like? I assume it has hundreds of big, sharp teeth like the turtle?"
|
|
|

6. Shiro looked up again. "Turtles don't have teeth! And no, the snapper doesn't have big teeth, either. It just looks like a big red fish."
|
|

Issilude frowned, head tilted to one side. "If it doesn't have teeth, then why would they call it 'snapper'? Or does it have a really, really big mouth or something?"
|
|
|

7. Shiro turned once more to the water. "Well, they do have big mouths, so I guess that's why. Although, names here don't exactly make sense."

Issilude too began to look in the water, trying to find the red fish. "Really? Like what? Cats named Fido or rabbits named Hunter?"

8. Shiro shook his head. "No, more like dandylion, a plant that's named after what most people consider the most power animal in nature. A little weed, named after a cat that weighs twice, even three times as much as a grown man."
|

Issilude shrugged. "Well, do they have anything that looks the same? A pattern on the petals that looks like it or something? That's probably why the flower was named that."
|
|
|
Post by Shiro on Jun 12, 2009 21:14:15 GMT -5
9. "Well, the flower does have a lot of little petals that kinda look like the lion's mane, but not that much, really." Shiro said, before catching a glimpse of movement. Is that it?

Post by Oryan Kaishin on Jun 12, 2009 21:26:04 GMT -5
Oryan had sensed a couple of powers near the ocean on his way to catch a red snapper for Master Korin, so he figured he'd see who they were. He flew fairly high above the ocean, so when he caught sight of them they might not notice him unless they were sensing him. They appeared friendly, so he flew down to greet the two. "Hello. Not every day you see people floating above the open ocean. Not idly at least."

Issilude answered, "That's really all the justification they need. It's not like they're gonna wait before they find a roaring lilly to name it after a lion."
When Oryan showed up, Issilude was awed once more. Like many other things, he had never seen a kai before, and the sheer difference between himself and this new creature stunned him into silence.
