The Nimbus flew slowly over the ocean on its way back to the mainland. Shiro was lying on it, thinking about his fight. I was so close to beating him, I'm certain of it. If I had only lasted a few more minutes, or seconds even... Doens't matter. I lost.

He continued to think as, unkown to him, his Nimbus started circling over an nremarkable stretch of water. Solar Flare, that explosion attack, the Kamehameha, that copy ability, Wolf Fang, that yoyo attack, and that laser attack. Blaze has seven techniques, maybe even more. I've only got four. I need to learn some new skills, badly.

It wouldn't have made a difference. He was a skilled fighter. I would have lost either way. Suddenly, Shiro's falling and within seconds he hits the water below with a loud SMACK!

Shiro swims up to the surface and glares at his Nimbus, who's waiting for him a foot over the water. "What was that for? I'm not exactly in the mood for a bath, alright." The Niimbus flew around him, splashing him with its wake.

Shiro's glare didn't falter. "You're telling me to get over it, aren't you? That I did good regardless and that I should be proud, right?" As the yellow cloud hovered up and down in affirmation, Shiro sighed. "Why exactly are you able to tell me anything, anyway? You're a freaking cloud, for crying out loud."

Said cloud started to float away and Shiro, thinking he had hurt the things feelings, sighs. "Ok, ok, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to insult you. Now would you mind floating back down here so I can get out? I'm soaked and tired and it's freezing out here." The cloud ignored him except to float a bit higher.

Shiro sighed. "So you're just gonna leave me here? Expect me to swim back? Gee, thanks." And with that Shiro starts swimming off, but, apparently, that's not what the Nimbus wanted. It flew into the water, scooping Shiro off and rocketing into the sky for several hundred feet.

When the Nimbus was at the height it wanted it once more let Shiro go. He fell through the air, yelling at it to catch him before he broke his neck. It flew parallel to him throughout, only catching him when it was obvious he wasn't doing what it wanted.

After giving Shiro a few moments to catch his breath from screaming the cloud once more flew into the sky and dropped him. Again he was only caught when he almost reached the water. The cloud repeated this process sevearl times, moving closer to Korin's tower each time.

Gozu flies over the ocean that leads to Roshi's island. "Man how much easier is this? Now I can sense him...or at least I think it's him I doubt any other strong power would be here." Gozu thinks aloud as he makes his way towards Roshi's island.

1. Shiro flies over to a nearby river, jumping off the cloud and slowing himself before he hit the ground. He looked out at the water, sighing at how dark it was. That's gonna make this hard.

2.
Shiro shrugged off his shirts, pants, belt, scarf, and swords and placed them in a pile next to the bank. He waded into the water and stood there, letting his eyes adjust to the darkness. I hope this doesn't take too long.

Gozu brings his cloud down and surfs on the water likes he like doing being careful to keep the mags out of the spray as he approaches Roshi's incredibly small island. He can see it in the distance a mere dot on the horizon. "Almost there."

3.
Shiro shivered slightly half an hour later. He'd yet to see anything that looked like a fish. In fact, the only thing he had seen was a rather large leaf that floated by. Yeah, not exactly exciting.

4.
Shiro apparently fell asleep at one point, as he woke up face first in the water and having a hard time breathing. He flailed for a moment before pushing himself up and out of the water. I guess this is taking too long.

5.
Shiro got back into the water and waited several minutes. And then he waited several more minutes. And then he waited even longer. And he still didn't see anything.

6.
Shiro sighed and stood up. He'd been crouched over for several minutes and his back was getting sore. "This is taking too long."

7.
After waiting several more minutes Shiro sees movement up river. He tenses, ready to pounce at it even if it didn't swim between his hands. Come on, come on, be red.

8.
The fish swims just outside Shiro's reach, as if it knew there was something predatory in front of it. Shiro began getting impatient, but he didn't move. The fish continued to taunt him by staying just far enough away.

Gozu pulls up on his nimbus after a little bit of "cloud surfing" He keeps a tight grip on the bag full of porn not wanting it to fall in the ocean. "Alright let's get to it." Gozu says he nears the tiny little island Roshi calls home.

9.
The fish swims forward slightly and Shiro jumps. He over jumps, however, and the fish swims under him. Shiro wound up with a face full of gravel.

10.
Shiro groaned as he pushed himself up and turned to walk back to his place. He groaned again when he did. Right in front of him was his yellow cloud, a red fish flopping on top. "Show off."

1.
Shiro sighed. "Take that up to Korin. I still have to catch another for him and with my luck, that thing'll rot before I can." He told the cloud. It bounced up and down before flying off.

2.
After sending his cloud off, Shiro got back into position. He was fairly certain that he was just lucky with that fish. He'd probably woken it up at some point and it wanted a midnight snack.

Oh well, he thought. I guess I'm stuck here until I find another fish. I just hope I'm done in time for breakfast.

4.
Once more Shiro waited for fish to swim by. The nimbus made its delivery and came back before he saw so much as a ripple. Even then, it turn out to be nothing more than another leaf.

5.
I'm going to fall asleep again before another fish shows up. Shiro thought as he waited. His arms were getting tired of holding still and he was getting pruney.

6.
Shiro yawned. He'd never realized just how tiring it was to just stand somewhere. Oh wait, yeah he did. His father had made him stand outside his house one night as punishment.

He still remembered the reason, too. He had asked his father earlier in the day to let him hold his sword. His father hadn't allowed it, since he was only five at that point.

8.
He'd snuck out of bed that night and gone into the armory of his house. He'd taken the sword down off the wall and unsheathed it before swinging it around like he had seen his father earlier that day. He'd wound up knocking over a suit of armor and waking up everyone in the house.
