Tereya decided against just simply "walking away" he entered the alley way, and walked casually over to the two thugs. They hadn't noticed him yet, and went to hit the girl one more time, but his voice boomed out loud, over the silence.
"Hit her one more time, and I'll break you..."

The thugs immediately looked up at him, one turned to face him, and the other one released the girl in surprise, and she ran away quickly, before the guy could resume his hold on her.
"Now look what you did punk, you made us lose our girl!" the thug replied angrily.
Tereya smiled, and walked quicker to them now, his slow walk, becoming a brisk stride.

The thugs both pulled out two knife like weapons, too long to be daggers, but too short to be swords.
Thug 1: "You better step back kid, or else you'll get hurt" Thug 2: "Yeah...we don't play, we're apart of the Ripper Gang!"
Tereya held up one hand, and fired two single ki blasts at their weapons, causing the metal to heat up, forcing them to drop the knives instantly, in pain.

Thug 1: "You brat, we'll show you no mercy.." the thug said, as he charged at Tereya rearing for an attack.
Tereya side stepped the attack, and threw his fist into the thug's head, causing the thug to fall unconscious on the ground, instantly.

Thug 2: "What the hell man...what are you?! Some sort of monster?!" he began sweating in fear.
Tereya went to attack the second guy, but paused for a second. "Monster..? What is a monster?" he asked questioningly, his head tilted to the side in curiousity.

The guy looked at Tereya in fear, half confused-half feared, he turned, and ran away, as fast as he could.
Tereya threw one more Ki blast, and it hit the guy in the back, sinking into his back, and sending him flying forward, his back smoking.

Tereya walked calmly to where the bad guy lay fallen, and looked at the guy's back, where he was hit. The man's back was burned, blistered, and bleeding mildly.
He walked forward a bit more and checked the guy's pulse, he was still alive, but knocked out. Tereya shrugged.

"I...I...Regret it.." Tereya said coldly, as he walked out of the alley way, searching for a store of some kind, on which he could find the materials he needed.
He kept walking for awhile, passing people, both walking, and standing around talking, he recieved a few stares, but he kept on walking, oblivious to anyone else around him.

Tereya kept walking, he went around the town quite a few times, not knowing exactly where he was going, just knowing that he had to find a store of some kind, any kind really. His eyes fell upon a large emporium type shop, that had large signs in the window, and had sale boards. This, was his destination.

Oryan nearly finished his training regime and decided it was time to take a break, at least for a little while. "Hah....another great session, and it's only just hit noon." Oryan snickered as he said this under his breath. He still had time for his evening session. First, though, he needed to take a break and grab a bite to eat.

He slowly and calmly walked out of the dojo after taking a moment to catch his breath. He then began to ask himself...Where should I go for my meal today? Rallo's generally has some good stuff, but Idon't think my stomach can handle spicy food today, not after a workout like that...Hhhmmm...

After a moment or so of thought, he turned to his left and shoved his hands in his pockets. He'd just go to the first place that looked appealing to his tastes. Since it was about midday now, traffic was as booming as ever. Cars were cramming through intersections because of the rush hour. Oryan just chuckled and shrugged to himself as he watched them.

A few minutes after he'd began his search for a decent dining establishment, Oryan spotted one that might just fit the bill. He noticed that one could dine inside or outside in front of this restaurant, so that was definitely a plus. He preferred outside. With a partial smirk on his face he walked in and up to the counter to place an order.

Oryan was a couple of spots back from the front of the line, so he took this time to survey the menu and decide what he'd have for today. This wasn't a typical fast food restaurant like most of the other places he'd eaten at, so he figured he'd enjoy changing it up a bit. He wanted to go for something outside of the ordinary.

When it was finally Oryan's turn to place his order, the person at the register said, "Hold on just a moment, sorry. We have a problem in the back." And they turned quickly, heading towards the back area where everything was being cooked. Oryan was a bit frustrated at this, but he shrugged and continued to examine the menu.

By the time he'd finished choosing his ideal meal from their menu, the cashier hadn't returned yet so Oryan decided to remove his training weights so he could relax once he got his meal. He didn't want to make his meal unenjoyable, after all. He sat the four weights on the counter next to the cash register and leaned against the counter.

Just moments later the cashier returned and said, "Sorry about that, anyway, what will you have on this fine day, good sir?" Oryan raised an eye brow at this, but replied without hesitation regardless, "I'll have the grilled chicken sandwich with French onion soup. Tea will be fine for the drink."

Oryan noted the amount that came up on the register and handed the cashier the money before he could even say a word. It was clear that it would be a mistake for the cashier to test Oryan's patience any further. The only thing worse than an angry Kai was an angry Kai with an empty stomach. Then again, this probably wouldn't have bothered Oryan if he hadn't been hungry in the first place.

"Yes, sir. Your order is number one hundred and eight. Take a seat wherever you please and we'll call your number when it's ready." Oryan nodded and replied, "I'll be outside." He then turned from the cashier and walked out the door, taking a seat at one of the umbrella-shaded tables. He crossed his arms and sighed.

Oryan heard a loud thud at the doorway behind him and turned to see the cashier falling to the concrete sidewalk after stumbling out the door with Oryan's weights in hand. Oryan stood up and walked over to help him up, quickly picking up his weights. "Thank you for bringing these out, I forgot them in all of my frustration. I apologize."

"No...huff...problem. You must be quite the fighter to wear those around during your daily life. Between me and you, I might be able to help you out. Come back here after my shift and we'll talk. My brother is a fighter, too. If you can help me, I'll help you. I know a few things." Oryan nodded, a bit curious, and said, "Alright. When is your shift over?"

"It'll be over at four o'clock, which is in a little over three hours from now. I advise you be ready for some serious work when you get back, so don't go and exhaust yourself." Oryan gave a thumbs-up and walked back over to his table, laying the weights near the center of the table at the base of the umbrella.

"Name's Donovan, by the way." Oryan heard the man say as he went back into the restaurant to continue his duties. Oryan sighed again and shook his head. This was definitely not what he'd expected when he came here to get his meal. Then again, it could turn out to be far more beneficial than just a meal, although Oryan expected the chances of that to be very slim.

Oryan waited on his food to arrive and finally it was delivered to him. It wasn't the highest quality of food he'd seen before, but it was definitely a step above what most of the other places he'd eaten at had produced. It even looked like it might be somewhat good to eat.

As he took a bite of his sandwich he tried to surmise a good course of action for the next three hours while he waited for this 'Donovan' to get off work so their little transaction could occur. This was the first time that anything in North City had shown the promise of true entertainment, albeit that the chances of it being true were slim.

A quaint wind blew through the area and caused Oryan's hair to flip around and about, getting in his face at certain points. He just whipped his head around to flip his hair out of his face and took another bite of his sandwich. The breeze feels good, but it really causes problems for my hair. Haha....

Whatever, I never comb it or cut it anyway, so what does it matter... he asks himself as he finishes the sandwich and takes a couple sips of his tea. The soup he'd ordered should have been cool enough to eat by then, and he began on it. He'd never had French onion soup before, so he wondered how it would taste.

Oryan finished his soup just as quickly, finding it almost as enjoyable as the sandwich had been. He finished drinking down his tea as well and threw his leftovers in the trash can outside of the restaurant. he zipped his training weights back into their respective places in his boots and gloves. He then set out for the local shop to see if he might need anything they had to offer in the way of supplies.

Stepping back onto the sidewalk from the store, Oryan couldn't decide what else he would do with his time. Donovan had suggested that he not tire himself out before their meeting at four o'clock, and he wasn't sure what he could do until then. Perhaps the local arcade could entertain him until then...

He didn't know this part of town too well, so he figured wandering around until he found the arcade, or perhaps something else of interest, would suffice to consume the time he needed it to. He could easily find his way back to that diner anyway. He was sure to take mental not of how he'd gotten to where he currently was so he actually could find his way back.
