6. Shiro brought both hands forward suddenly, releasing his charged beam of ki. He hadn't actually gathered all that much, but it was still a pretty strong beam. Maybe it's how he charged it that's important.

7. Shiro nodded as he thought. Yeah, if I can charge an attack slower than usual, then I should be able to charge faster, too. It just makes sense.

8. Alright, let's try it. Shiro thought, lifting both hands back into position. Energy once more gathered in his palms.

9. Shiro stopped shortly after he started. He measured the amount of energy he had managed to gather and frowned, reabsorbing it. Nope, not enough soon enough. I'll try again.

10 Shiro took a deep breath and pulled out as much energy as he could. Instantly a ball of ki the size of a bowling ball filled his hand. Yeah, that'll do nicely.

1. Shiro nodded at the amount of energy he had gathered, and reabsorbed it. He turned to walk out of the dojo, when he saw someone nearby. The person was punching at a large, steel dummy.

2. Shiro watched for a while, surprised that the guy hadn't bloodied his knuckles yet. The guy stopped suddenly, holding a pose with his right fist drawn back and his left hand forward against the dummy. Shiro could feel energy gather in the man's hand.

3. Shiro watched the man suddenly bring his arm forward, punching the dummy with the charged fist. There was a loud gong sound, and the steel had a dent about six inches deep in it. That's one heck of a punch.

4. Shiro had paid so much attention to what damage had been done to the dummy, that he didn't notice the man. He was currently lying on the ground, holding onto a horribly bloody fist. Shiro just turned back to the wall he was in front of.

5. Let's see, it looked like he released the energy just as he hit the dummy. So, I guess that's what I have to do, too. Shiro thought as he began gathering energy into his fist.

6. Shiro swung his fist at the stone before him, releasing the ki exactly when he felt the stone. And boy did he feel it. Shiro collapsed to the ground, holding his fist as if trying to keep it from falling apart.

7. Shiro looked down at his fist, surprised at how little blood there actually was. Ahg, darn it! That HURT!

8. Shiro turned his head to see the guy from earlier being helped onto a stretcher. Apparently his injury had been enough to make him pass out from blood loss. Great, a one-hit self-kill punch. That's real helpful.

9. Of course, I don't plan on punching stone all that much. Shiro thought as he stood back up, shaking his hand. And flesh is a lot softer, so this should actually be helpful.

10. Shiro faced the stone wall again, hand made into a fist once more. Still, I should try and time it so I feel as little impact as possible. So, let's try this again.

11. Shiro swung his fist again, this time releasing the energy just before his fist hit the stone. The result was less than spectacular. All the forces at work countered each other, meaning all he had done was a weak punch.

12. Shiro sighed. Well, I didn't feel anything. But I don't think the wall did, either. Guess I've got the timing off or something.

13. Shiro made another fist and filled it with energy again. But now when should I release the energy? Just after impact?

Oryan would appear a few feet behind Shiro. He saw where Shiro was at and he spoke, "Hello again, Shiro. Good to see you're well. Sorry I kept you waiting. I had to take care of a personal matter." He lied about that last bit. It wasn't personal, not in the way he spoke of it as being at least.

14. Shiro lifted his arm to punch again when Oryan appeared behind him. Shiro turned and nodded at the Kai. "Hey, Oryan. Same to you. And don't worry, I found a way to spend my time."

"Go ahead and finish your training. I can wait." Oryan replied as he walked over to one of the dojo walls and leaned up against it. He would cross his arms and wait.

15. Shiro nodded. "Thanks, it shouldn't be too long." Then he turned back to the wall. Now, where was I?

16. Shiro lifted his fist and swung at the wall. This time he waited until he felt the impact completely to release the energy. However, the pain from hitting stone dead on distracted him, and he lost much of his charge.

17. Shiro shook his hand again, glaring at the wall. Okay, so if I can't get it to work if I release it before the strike, and it won't work if I release it after the strike, then I'm stuck with the moment of the strike. But that's when it hurts the most.

18. Shiro frowned. Well, it's not like the guy was in good condition after hitting the dummy. So maybe there isn't a way to use this attack without hurting yourself.

19. Unless... Shiro gathered the energy again, wrapping it around his hand this time. He swung once more at the wall. [/i]Let's see how this works.[/i]

20. The punch connected and Shiro released the energy. The ki itself acted as a shield for Shiro's hand, keeping it from getting to badly damaged. It also left a large crater in the wall where he hit. That's it. That's what I'm talking about.

1. Issilude flew into the dojo on his cloud, receiving many odd looks. He ignored them, instead looking around the dojo for what would be an effective attack. So many strange attacks, how am I gonna pick?

2. Issilude saw people firing color bolts of light everywhere, some with strange shapes like stars, others with wierd colorations, like pink with a green edge. Many of these lights did different things, like the light that seemed to pierce through the wood, and the one that followed the person. They look so cool.

3. However, the one trick that truly caught Issilude's eye wasn't one of the flashy light ones. It was simply a man stopping his opponent in his tracks. In mid air. Without touching him.
