Just create a new thread here, with the Subject as your character's name, and then copy/paste the following code, and fill in the blanks.
Easy!
Also... make sure you use the enter key. You should hit it twice to start a new paragraph in your Story. Huge wallsoftext won't be accepted. But even if you do split your paragraphs clearly, if your writing is terrible and littered with screaming typos, you're not going to make it. You'll need at least a moderate level of writing/typing skill here, as this whole site is based on writing.
Your signature technique is your character's own unique creation. No other character will have this skill.
Your desperation need not be designed now, because you'll have a lot of training to do before you can unlock something so powerful.
But if you'd like, you can plan ahead and try creating something now.
Using your desperation will drain every last bit of strength in you, so make sure it's worth it!
Notes: You can only use your desperation attack while you're at Weakened and your opponent is not.
While executing a desperation (not counting charge posts), quadruple your power (so in most cases, with Weakened 50%, you'd get 50%x4 = 200%) temporarily. This represents the massive release of everything you have left.
However, your endurance and evasion are completely unaffected by the boost of a Desperation, so not only are you no better at avoiding hits, but if you take any hits while executing your desperation, you'll take huge damage and might find yourself unable to finish.
A desperation must be activated within the first 2 posts of Weakened.
You can only use your desperation once per battle per day. Eating a senzu bean or being rejuvenated in some other way doesn't give you a second shot later.
While you're using a desperation, your opponent cannot use any 'once per battle' techniques.
One last thing... you can never use a desperation to kill another character. At most, a desperation will beat an opponent to the point they can no longer fight, therefore resulting in a double-defeat or double-KO.
Special Notes
You should leave this blank at first, but it's up to you.
Here, you can specify miscellaneous notes about your character and their style. This isn't for giving yourself free powers, but mere customization, to add more variety to each character.
Once your character learns a dojo technique, you can put notes here on the unique way your character applies the technique, or how it appears if different from normal. You can effectively make your own unique set of dojo technique alternatives, even with names you made yourself.
The idea of this is that once a character picks up a skill, they can develop it and create something unique from it that suits their style.
Once you're ready, give it a try.
Note that you still keep the ability to use a dojo technique's regular form.
As for transformations, you may rename your transformations and/or (re)design how they affect your character's appearance.
Anything you want to put here, however, you must first post separately in a new post in your character thread for a staff member to review.
Only once they give it the OK can you edit in the changes to your profile here.
Personal Dojo Technique Upgrades
If you've been here long enough to get 10 stars, you can design your own upgrades for techniques, even those without learnable upgrades (such as Gallick Gun).
These will take 10 posts to perfect by your character once accepted, but are allowed to be considerably 'better' than the basic forms of the techniques, just like how the pre-existing upgrades are a whole level above their lower forms.
Note: Kaioken cannot be upgraded, because it naturally gets more useful the more stars you have.
