Name: Nai
Race: Namekian
Age: 20
Sex: Neuter
Alignment:Neutral Pure Evil (as evil as evil can get)
Hair Color: No hair
Hair Style: No hair
Eye Color: Black
Height: 6'2
Body Appearance: Nai is tall and well toned. His skin color is light green, symbolizing his youth. He doesn't look muscular at all, although his upper body is rather large. He's usually a calm and happy character, as reflected by his positive facial expressions.
Clothes: His outfit is pretty basic. Brown namekian shows, and a blue sleveless gi. His blue pants are somewhat baggy too. Wears a large blue sash that ties his gi top and his pants together well. He wears a Piccolo style cape: white in color, goes down to his heels, and is large on the shoulders, looking like shoulder pads.
Ki/Energy Color: White
Quote: There was only one who conquered the Ancient Way. I'll change that!
Story: Nai can't quite rememember who his father was as he was growing up, and this would leave him confused as he grew up on Namek trying to find his identity. Fortunately, the Namekians were a peaceful, friendly race, and kept Nai warm even though it seemed that his father was not a popular person. He showed a keen interest in the art of combat and often spent his free time honing his skills, which would serve him well during conversations about combat and actual sparring matches. Realizing his potential and interest, the Namekian elder took Nai in at a young age, six, to begin formal training.
He underwent training in the Ancient Way, a style that only one Namekian was able to truly master. All warrior Namekians undergo this test, and Namekians, being the peaceful and supportive race they are, cheered Nai on and wished him good luck. Nai was not heard from after many weeks, causing the Namekians to worry about him.
Much to their joy, Nai came back, and he seemed to have gotten stronger. But, it was all for naught. Nai said that he was not able to make it all the way, and he had to give up or die otherwise. He was still praised by his bretheren for giving it his all. They told him he should train on his own and come back when he feels it's time.
It seemed there was not anything else Nai could do. He saught his elder for advice.
"Elder," Nai asked. "I don't know where to go from here. I need to hone my skills, but I would like to fight many new opponents as well."
"Your intentions are clear." the Elder responded. "A spaceship will be prepared for you. I will send you to Earth. Earth is home for many great fighters. You will learn much there."
"Thank you. When I am powerful enough, I'll be back, and I'll conquer the Ancient Way!"
Nai went into a spaceship, and he set off for Earth. He crash landed on Earth, and now his adventure begins.
Starting Location: Earth Grasslands
Name: Nai's Improved Fighting Style
Description: Nai has devised his own style of fighting, incorporating some elements from the Ancient Way. After going through a multitude of battles in the RP, Nai has found and picked out the weaknesses to of his fighting style and makes the necessary improvements and additions. He's also upgraded it.
Special Effects:
1. Nai focuses entirely on defense. In this state he is much more responsive than normal to his opponents attacks, and is thus better capable of defending himself. Very useful for defending himself against offensive moves like final impact and stronger opponents who try to overpower him with physical moves. He can respond quickly to ki attacks as well, not just physical attacks. Very deadly in combination with his natural Namekian flexibility.
Once per battle, Nai may activate this without needing to concentrate for a post. And when he does, he can retain enough of his mentality to consciously make the decision for when to end it.
2. Nai is surrounded by an aura of his ki signature. This allows him to concentrate more easily, raising the strength of his techniques. He can also use this to just raise his overall abilities. If needs be, he can use both effects at the same time to unveil a very powerful assault.
3. If he spends one extra uninterrupted turn concentrating, he may use any of his techniques with its stamina drain cut in half.
Defects:
1. Requires a post of concentration. Because Nai's mind is so keen on defense, his brain is unable to understand the concept of "offense." He can allow this to last for as many turns as he wants to, but once he decides in his concentrating post, there's no going back. He can move anywhere he wants, but he can't attack. In the case of a beam struggle, if his beam overpowers his opponent's beam, then his beam explodes instantly causing his beam and his opponent's beam to disappear into thin air, leaving his opponent undamaged. No offense, remember?
Also, if the uncharged version is used, Nai's offensive power remains significantly weakened for two posts.
2. Should be used sparingly. Drains ki very quickly if it's used for more than one turn. Using both parts of this effect is like using the technique for two turns, and will instantly sap away a lot of ki. If the raising abilities is used, then kaioken can't be used. If kaioken is used, then the raising abilities can't be used.
3. If he's interrupted, he still cuts down on stamina usage, but it doesn't go down by a half. It obviously gets cut less than half, according to how badly Nai gets interrupted.
Name: Push/Pull
Description: You get pushed, or... pulled?
Special Effects: Nai performs a physical attack or a ki attack (it could even be one of his techniques) and it hits with force, pushing back his opponent... or pulling them in! The stronger the attack, the more it pushes/pulls his opponent back, obviously.
Nai can also hit his opponent with so much force that the opponent gets knocked right down, stunning them for a post. If he hits someone in the air, they fall to the ground.
Defects: No damage is caused by this. Stunning someone for a post can only be used once a battle.
Desperation Attack
Name: Impure Namekian Wrath
Description: Nai clearly demonstrates that he's not good of heart (but not evil either), and it simply doesn't matter who his friends are. Yes, he'll even do this to his own brethren.
Nai can do one of two things: spend a turn transforming his ki into electrical energy, which is not visible to his opponent, and this process can not be sensed (although the opponent can sense Nai's ki dropping a little bit), or not spend a turn doing this. He will then fire electricity out of his antennae, but these rays travel so fast that they're invisible, making them impossible to dodge if someone is in its line of fire. If he spends one turn charging, everyone except Nai will be stunned for the next post. Otherwise he just stuns one person. The stunning effect lasts for a turn.
After one turn of further charging (by then everyone recovers from the stun), Nai will then unleash his fury, breaking essential joints in his opponent's body, instantly bringing them down to weakened 50% and barely able to move if he succeeds. Not very useful if the opponent is already injured, since they'll have essential joints broken anyway. Now if he spent a turn changing his ki to electricity, then he can effectively spread out his assault to anyone he stunned. The downside to this is a pretty basic one; he can't deal as much damage, but by fighting at 200% this may not matter.
If Nai does this from a rather far distance, he may stretch out his limbs when he attacks to save energy.
The whole purpose of the stunning is to just make everything more dramatic. This would be no different than Nai actually fighting at 200% suddenly for a post. You could say it's less effective overall than just suddenly fighting at 200% because he can't take advantage of his position in battle; he resets everything, allowing his opponents to focus in on him. But that's what makes it so dramatic... they know their end is near.
Also, more upgrade customization stuff:
Namekian stretching.
Special Notes
His cape initially weighs 10kg.
Gamma Antennae Attack - Electrical Antennae Attack: Nai needs to spend an uninterrupted turn of transforming his electrical energy into gamma radiation. He then unleashes it all over the area.
This technique stuns literally any living thing in the thread he's in, including his allies. Only 1 use per battle, lasts 1 post. During battle, he can use this or electrical antennae, but not both.
Revitalize - Heal: Nai spends two turns gathering his ki energy. Once he is done, he unleashes it, creating an explosion of golden, sparkling ki. This brings all of Nai's allies back to full health and stamina.
Due to the ki output, it can only be used once during battle. His two turns of charge MUST be uninterrupted. Can't be used at weakened 50%. Can't be the slightest bit tired, brings him down to weakened 50% upon use.
Saturday Special - Saturday Crush - Once per battle, Nai may actually fire out the saturday crush at the beam rather than just hold it in his hands. If it wins though, it just neutralizes the beam after some struggling.
White Kaioken - Kaioken: Nai's not evil nor good. If he was just left alone, he'd train all by himself and never do anything else. He wouldn't help the universe but he wouldn't harm it either; he needs a higher power (Guru) to guide his actions. This reflects in his kaioken aura, which is magenta. Magenta is what you get if you mix blue and red together (dark kaioken is blue, kaioken is red).
Light Grenade - Nai can fire a weakened version of this using one hand that doesn't require charge.
Shockwave -> Shock Whirlpool: Nai lets out an explosion of invisible ki all around him that pushes anyone close to him back and off balance.
It's almost moderately more draining than a shockwave, but Nai has to recover from the shock of suddenly letting out ki like that. So he appears to have the advantage over his opponent, but not long enough to take advantage of it as if he landed an ordinary shockwave. Of course, he can recover from this shock immediately if he wants to. But this maneuver in itself is moderately draining and should be used only if it'll be worth it.
Eye Lasers -> Eye Laser Shield: Nai makes a small, but concentrated shield of energy using eye lasers. More effective than blocking physical attacks, but using his ki like that noticeably weakens his offensive abilities for the turn he uses it in. Overall it's Saturday Crush but used to defend against physical attacks as opposed to ki attacks. For the range which he can use this technique: If Nai can block something with his limbs, he can choose to use this technique instead, excluding the range given by
Transformation list:
Namekian Warrior 104% - 10'400
If Nai travels back to New Namek before 11'000 posts and attempts to conquer the Ancient Way, he will get much farther than before, but he will fail again. 25 posts of his second try are required to reach this form.
This replaces the base form.
Ancient Way Unleashed 120% - 11'000
Requires Nai to be on New Namek. Fifty posts of conquering the "Ancient Way" are required to reach this form. If he did not achieve the Namekian Warrior transformation by this time, then he will unlock it in the 25th post of his 50th post session.
This form does require ki to maintain.
Ancient Way Remastered 132% - 11'800
This form requires no ki to maintain, and thus replaces the base form.
In Touch with Evil 140% - 12'000
Nai must be in Hell (if dead) or Demon World (if alive). He must spend fifty posts interacting with his evil ancestors and conquering them. Once he has done this, he may unlock the power they have given him. Due to the nature of this power up, he risks becoming evil while it's activated. This does require ki to maintain.
Controlled Evil 152% - 12'800
This form requires no ki to maintain, and thus replaces the base form. Nai has conquered the evil bestowed in him by his ancestors, and becomes his emotionless self again.
