It would take a while, but Couric had eventually managed to get the god damn ship out of Capsule Corporation by some great miracle. How? Well, we'll probably never know and I doubt anyone actually gives a fuck, so it shall just remain an unknown. Anyways, he had finally gotten the ship onto the lawn just outside the freakishly yellow dome.

Watching as the hatch opened, Couric folded his arms behind his head, letting out a childish yawn. He figured that it'd probably be a day or so before the ship actually got anywhere. Anyways...he leapt into the ship, the hatch that had opened to let him enter shutting as soon as he touched down on the tiled floor. /And so it begins.../

3.
Sitting in the Captain's chair, what he presumed to be the Captain's chair anyways since it was the only actual chair in the damn spaceship, Couric glanced down at the control panel. He noticed that it had been programmed to head to the planet of the apes, Vegeta. "Wow...That saves me a bit of time.." He muttered, glancing down to see only one button active at the moment; the launch button.

He drew up a hand, time seeming to slow as all except one of his fingers curled inwards towards his palm, his index pointing straight upwards. Time immediately picked up the pace, Couric's hand tilting downwards and plummeting towards the button, finger smashing into it, an epic close-up would've fit the scene perfectly if this were some kind of anime or something.

And thus, the ship took off, the person typing this having realized that more than a single post of this had to actually go towards the ship actually traveling through space. But since he's a lazy bastard who can't actually manage to be relevant until halfway to the required posting amount, anyone reading this would just have to put up with it.
But hey, Couric's ship was actually in space now, headed towards Vegeta.

Watching the stars pass by as his ship tore through space, Couric found himself wondering just what the planet was like. /If the people there are even stronger than me....there are probably fights breaking out near constantly so they can improve themselves./ He realized, slumping a little in his seat, a bit bored.

/And how exactly did I get to Earth anyways? Did someone send me by ship or something...?/ He pondered, only to suddenly have someone's voice speak into his mind.
"ATTENTION CONTESTANT, PLEASE RETURN TO PAPAYA ISLAND WITHIN FORTY-EIGHT HOURS OR YOU WILL BE DISQUALIFIED!" Couric blinked, having nearly forgotten about the Tenkaichi Budokai over the past few days.

"Forty-eight hours, huh?" The teen simply chuckled, figuring he'd have enough time to at least look around Vegeta before he absolutely needed to head back. Though, he'd have to be quick, his ship beginning to descend into Vegeta's atmosphere.
/I'll just take a look around and then get back home as fast I can!/ He noted, bracing himself for landing.

1.
Couric leapt onto the section of cliff where his ship rested, grinning rather childishly.
"Only a bit longer and I'll be back home and at the tournament!" He exclaimed, even more pumped for it than he had been when he learned about it. That was probably his Saiyan blood talking, something that had pretty much been confirmed by his little trip to desert-like planet.

2,
The pod's hatch slowly opened, revealing the interior of the spacecraft. As Couric stepped up the staircase, he had a feeling that someone had followed him and was now watching him from afar. /I guess that angry midget must have come after me for earlier...but if he signed up on Earth, he probably has his own ride back./

3.
Sitting in the Captain's seat, Couric glanced at the navigational computer, noticing that it had programmed itself to head right back for the blue planet from Vegeta; the obvious choice.
"Well...Lucky me..." He chuckled, sitting back and waiting for the hatch to close.

4.
The hatch closed completely, only one thing left for Couric to do with the control panel. He reached his right hand up as slowly as possible, finger pointing up towards the stars...and then...immediately brought it down, pressing the button as he had before, the ship proceeding to launch.

5.
The engines roared, the thrusters burning, and then...LIFT OFF! The Capsule Corporation spaceship tore through the skies of Vegeta, having completely blown away the barely stable cliff it had landed on. Meanwhile, the set of eyes Couric had felt upon his back as he entered the ship closed, the person they belonged to taking off towards the city.

Couric was rather comfortable in the captain's seat, surprisingly not as bored as he had been the first time he took the trip into space, arms folded behind his head. Though he had mixed feelings about the planet that his race came from, he couldn't decide if he should return one day to get in some more training. Considering all things, he probably should, but something inside seemed to scream for him to never return there.

7.
A yawn. A rather simplistic, childish yawn. Much like the thousands of simplistic, childish yawns that he had yawned throughout his 'short' lifetime. Boredom had kicked excitement and anticipation aside, the young Saiyan now sitting in the chair upside down, his hear pressing against the floor while his feet touched the head rest. He knew he'd probably have to sit up probably when the ship began to land, but that'd be later on...

Sitting up as properly as he could manage, seat belt buckled and everything in the ship in proper order, Couric was ready to land. And fortunately, the ship was already descending through Earth's atmosphere, heading for the strange yellow dome he had bought it from. Once the ship had landed and all the shit was settled, Couric would tell the clerk that he'd keep his ship here since he really had no other place to keep it and then take off on his nimbus.

1.
"Wow...They really didn't even try to put some kind of security on the ships their customers kept here..."
Couric slipped in once the hatch had opened fully, a bit surprised that no one had snuck in and stolen or broken anything. Hell, it looked exactly like he had left it when he last returned to Earth.

"Guess that must be something you have to pay extra for..." He muttered as he floated over to the Captain's chair and took his seat. He glanced down at the navigational control pad, seeing it immediately light up as though it had known he was there...and it probably had somehow.
/Technology's pretty amazing sometimes...though I'd hate to actually build this sorta stuff...I'd probably break it a few times before building it correctly./

Pressing the launch button and sending the ship into the flight, he looked around the ship itself, a bit surprised that he had never actually taken some time to inspect the damn thing when he bought it.
"There's probably some neat stuff in here..." He muttered, only to be slammed face first into the tile once the ship had passed the atmosphere.

4.
"Should have...stayed in the Captain's chair..." He muttered as he got to his feet, having bitten his tongue quite hard thanks to the collision with the ground. Couric shrugged it off as best as he could, imagining that there was a band-aid upon the area where he had bit down. But anyways, the ship was on its way towards its destination, a place that Couric had been once before.

Before having gotten up, Couric had pressed the small picture of a planet with a tail besides it; the navigational computer's symbol for Vegeta apparently. He continued on his way away from the Captain's chair, only to notice a fridge in one of the 'corners' of the ship, immediately smiling and rushing over to it. The Saiyan appetite had struck once more.

Having pulled quite a bit of food out of the fridge, he shut the door and headed back towards the Captain's chair. He wondered just how much longer it would take to get to Vegeta and if he could finish the pile of food he had grabbed before then. Well, it'd be a race against time and he was ready for a challenge.
/Here we go!/

7.
And needless to say, Couric had won the challenge, the Saiyan's speed having matched his voracious appetite. He sat back in the chair, watching the screen that showed what was in front of the craft and waited for the vehicle o' space to land upon the planet that had been previously destroyed by a Changeling who was terrified of people with power levels below 50,000 while his was...OVER A MILLION!?

8.
The ship began its descent into Vegeta's atmosphere, aimed for a random area of land that wouldn't collapse if it settled down upon it. Couric just watched the screen, noting that the planet really did look barren, even from space.
/So where exactly does the water come from...? Is there water on the other side or something...?/ He pondered.

1. 1.
Having pressed the launch button to set the ship into traveling mode, Couric stepped away from the Captain's chair and stood in the middle of the room. His fists clenched, he shifted into a stance one would expect from a boxer. Immediately, the young Saiyan began to punch the air as fast as he could, first with his right and then with his left. He had felt the sudden urge to train as hard as he could before he reached Earth, deciding to go along with it for now.

2. 2.
He wished he had bought a heavier set of weights, figuring that they would probably help his training along a bit, but decided that it was too late to think about that. Jabbing at the air with his right, stepping forward as he did so, he turned on his foot and brought his left into the air, kicking at nothingness. He caught himself on his left foot and immediately jumped, doing a spinning kick towards the ceiling, arms held close to his torso at that moment.

3. 3.
Stopping himself in mid-air, the young Saiyan drew his leg back to the other, returning to a quick bout of punching. First a right jab and then a left, occasionally throwing an uppercut in to mix things up a little bit. He smirked as his fist tore through the air, probably having enough force behind it to shatter someone's jaw if it had actually made contact with an opponent of some shape or form.

4. 4.
He dropped to the floor in a standing position, fist still held up towards the sky as though that single uppercut had been the defining moment of a match he had won. But, anyways, he slipped back into the boxing stance, glaring at the invisible opponent he had been trying to knock out for the past minute or so. A thrust of the palm, right towards the 'man's' neck, likely disabling his ability to breathe. A second thust, this time to the jaw to push him ever so slightly off the flooring beneath him...and then...

5. 5.
A quick step back, the opponent had tried to land a kick to Couric's face while 'ascending towards the heavens', somersaulting backwards and catching 'himself' on his feet. The young Saiyan just smirked and immediately took a leap of his own, drawing his feet up to kick the man in the base of the jaw, replicating what would probably be considered a scissor kick by the way he had moved.

6. 6.
The opponent had been caught off guard by the maneuver, stumbling backwards as pain shot straight to his brain, eyes closed. Couric's left was the first foot to touch the ground, his right following and pushing himself forward as he clenched his fist at his side. He drew it upwards and punched towards the invisible foe's gut, a blow that would surely knock the wind right out of him if it connected, setting him up for one final strike.
