A final step forward, the young Saiyan ducking, drawing his right fist in as he clenched his left The gap between the 'two' fighters was closed near instantaneously, Couric's left fist making its way upwards in a curve, pushing himself off the ground and out of the crouch. The opponent opened up a single eye to see the appendage drawing closer to his chin, a blow that would surely knock him out in an instant...!

And uppercut connected...! The final blow had been dealt and the random space of air had been defeated soundly! What an amazing strike it had been! It was too bad that this was just a bit of intense training or else it would've actually mattered and not just be a memory that would soon be forgotten as the ship's control panel beeped, signaling that the ship had landed. Couric wiped a bit of sweat off his brow and grinned, scooping up his stuff and sitting in the Captain's seat.
That minor bit of training had been completed!

Letting out a sigh and looking up towards the screen showcasing just what was occurring outside the ship, Couric tried to get up. Of course, thanks to the fact that the ship was in the process of taking off into the atmosphere, he was flung right back into the seat.

Grimacing, he just sat there and waited for the ship to leave orbit, a bit annoyed by the simple fact that he was practically plastered to the chair.
/Oh well...Guess I'll just have to find a way back to Vegeta once the ship lands...I have no idea if I could manage to program it to change direction mid-flight.../

/I wonder where the ship is headed anyways...Knowing my luck, it's probably some desolate hell hole that is worse than Vegeta and probably has poisonous air that will kill me the second I even let the slightest bit of air into the ship./ He thought, pretty damn annoyed.

/Or I'll somehow get lucky and manage to land somewhere where I can learn a good technique or two...but then again, considering my track record.../ He remembered every incident with the nimbus, wincing a bit as he imagined just how painful a full blown crash would be for him. And it would be pretty damn horrific.

After all, there was no seat belt on the Captain's seat. He just had to hope that he wasn't sent flying and hold on as tightly as possible to the arm rests. It almost made him wonder why the hell a seat belt hadn't been installed on the ship. Had he gotten a shoddy product? Or was he just that damn unlucky?

/That or the belt is built into the chair and it's just incredibly hard to figure out how to make it show itself or something like that./ He considered, the possibility one that he really hoped wasn't the case. After all, he didn't wanna get flung into the ceiling because of a lack of a seat belt. That'd be painful.

/Speaking of which...where the hell is the craft headed anyways...?/ He pondered, managing to muster enough strength to look up towards the navigational panel. His brow raised as he read off the planet's name, one that seemed extremely odd to him. After all, who the hell named a planet with a word starting with the letter 'Y'?

"Yardrat, huh? That's really a stupid name....But then again, Earth sounds like something a brain dead person would utter..." Couric realized, chuckling a bit. He had never really thought about the blue planet's name before, but then again, he really had no reason to. But anyways, the ship had begun to descend towards its destination...a bit faster than normally.
