Story: Originally Lethenir was a young man by the name of Kai Zeronix. He lived a fairly normal life like any other Earthling would. growing up with two parents, going to school from an early age, and living in a suburban apartment. This simple lifestyle continued on until the middle of his sixteenth year.
A horrible car accident would occur just shortly after he got his driver's license. The accident forced the boy into a coma. The boy's condition only worsened as time went on. When the parents found out who the other vehicle was that had been a part of the crash, they quickly turned to the ones responsible for some kind of answer.
A military truck had lost control and struck the boy's vehicle. The military was known for its technology, both mechanical and medicinal. This in mind, they requested that the military fix the problem. Although both sides were reluctant, they did reach an agreement. In exchange for using their tech to save the boy's life, they would be able to test some of their prototypes on the boy.
The parents didn't know what they meant by this and only wanted their son back, so they agreed. In a matter of two weeks their son was returned to them as healthy as ever. The boy was given his own 'dog tags' and told to keep them at all times. He remembered everything that had happened up until the crash, and his parents couldn't have been happier.
No information regarding their methods was ever mentioned or questioned by anyone because of the agreement signed by both parties before anything had been done. The family returned to their life as if everything were normal.
Unfortunately, this sense of normalcy would fade quickly. Their son seemed to never get bruised, cut, or even suffer any superficial damage at all. It was eerie to behold.
Then, it finally happened. One evening when Kai was on his way home, he lost control of his body. Strange figures and details about his surroundings began showing up in his field of vision. Even his own vitals appeared. Something happened in response to this that the military hadn't expected. The A.I. that had been implanted in the boy's memory to control their special additions to his new frame was overriden by the boy's own force of will.
Perhaps they'd overestimated their own technology or underestimated the full potential of placing human consciousness into a machine, but either way things turned sour from there. He rushed back to his house on foot at speeds that would make most cars look slow. He leaped over intersections and slid to a halt in front of his house.
He punched through the door and tore it off its hinges. "So that's it, huh? When your real son died I was a replacement....If I die, if a machine can die that is, will you replace me too? What would he feel like if he knew you'd tossed him aside so easily? Well don't worry, Kai! I'll enact your vengeance upon them. For throwing away a life like that!"
The android burned down his home, leaving his the people he previously called parents to their destiny. He couldn't bring himself to kill them directly since he felt like they were still his parents. Somewhere deep inside, Kai was still there. This whole insanity of no longer being flesh and blood had effected his psyche in a very negative way. He thought only of himself as a tool now. An object used to make accomplishing some task or goal more efficient and easy.
He lived the next few months of his life roaming around. When he found out that food was no longer a necessity and that he was actually able to go without sleep due to his prototype nuclear battery, he dedicated his time to learning how to operate his new body and all the 'additions' it had to offer.
One of the additions of note was a mechanical tail. About four inches in diameter, it can be compacted into the body and hidden. It varies in length, although he generally keeps it at five feet in length when he does have it out.
After he meets Ava in the Hercule City Dojo and they converse, he'll set off at her side to help her, as any useful tool would.
Starting Location:Signature Technique:Name: Wired
Description: Lethenir can fire his arms and legs off like rockets from the forearm down and kneecap down respectively. This section of his arm is attached to the rest of his arm by an extendable metal chord. This chord is three inches in diameter, more flexible than his normal joints, and just as durable as the rest of his body. They can be used to wrap and entangle a foe as well.
He may do the same as the above stated with his tail, too.
Special Effects: Allows for long range physical attacks. They can also be partially guided by proper use of the chord. Allows for binding and constricting. If used with the arms, he may also drain the target of energy as normal.
If the ground is suitable(Not high grade metal) he can fire them into the ground and have them move around for surprise attacks.
Defects: Moves at the same speed as his normal physical attacks, except over a long distance, which can make them easier to dodge.
Minuscule energy drain, just slightly more-so than a standard melee attack.
Desperation AttackName: (I'll make this when the time comes)
