Before Sakar Grock's defeat Blaze found himself at a dilemma, he had recently won the World's Martial Art tournament and was in need of a new challenge. The challenge had presented itself in the form of Cajabe. Although Blaze had never met him nor knew anything of his power or what he looked like he knew two things for certain. He recognized his name from the World Martial Arts tournament sign up list, and that he had killed one his favorite dojo trainers, a man by the name of Rick.
Blaze had since made it his mission to find Cajabe and make him pay for what he had done. He assumed he was stronger than Cajabe was but also knew not to underestimate anybody, he had been injured several times recently from doing just that. So Blaze decided after Sakar Grock was defeated that now, during this time of peace would be the best time to begin a rigorous set of training trials in order to help him deal with the coming battle. Blaze figured he was already champion of Earth and needed not to stay there for his training, so back to King Kai's planet he went to train for a little under a year.
During his time at King Kai's, Blaze worked to perfect his fighting skills having the old Kai watch over his EVERY movement making sure none were sloppy and that he didn't make the ridiculously amateur mistakes he had made in his past. Using Cajabe as motivation his training went along at an amazing pace. After ten months of training Blaze had finally received King Kai's approval on his fighting technique. It was then he begun his search for Cajabe. He knew nothing of his looks or race, so from planet to planet Blaze jumped looking for traces of the saiyan warrior.
Finding no trace of him after several weeks of searching Blaze went back to Earth and rested there on the outskirts of cities, spending his time learning more of the Namekian language and waiting for capsule corporation to be rebuilt so he may finally buy a dragon radar and begin his second quest; the search for the dragon balls. It was here Blaze waited, outside of West City for the last two weeks asking random strangers with decent power levels if they had seen or heard of Cajabe, and reading up on the lore of dragon balls while studying more of the language that he knew he would need in the future.
