Shaira sighed as she let her bat rest against her shoulder, she'd been in East City for about two days searching for Aku but in that time she'd gotten nowhere with finding her half demon friend, today she had decided to take a break from searching and just have some fun, perhaps Aku would simply find her. "Next!" A man said as someone exited one of the batting cages, today was a rather active day for the batting cages much to Shaira's dismay, baseball had been the only type of physical activity that she really enjoyed.. well other than fighting.

"Finally..." She mumbled as she stood from the bench and slipped her helmet on, she headed over to the batting cage just in time for someone to cut in front of her, a very poor choice on the mans behalf. "HEY! Moron I'm next!" She yelled into the cage pointing at the man with her metal bat, unlike most Kai Shaira lacked a calm attitude, she'd always had a rather short fuse and she wasn't in the mood to for some moron to cut her in line.

"Back off kid let a real player get some actual time in." The man said completely blowing Shaira off, he then proceeded to head over to the machine that would activate the base ball launcher. Shaira tried to calm herself down but unfortunately that was not going to happen. Shaira tightened her grip on her bat, too aim, and smashed the lock on the batting cage door sending the door flying open, was she overreacting? Yes, did she care? No.

"I believe I said it's MY turn." Shaira said with a growl as she slipped into the batting cage, the man who had cut in front of her simply stared at the 'young' woman before him who had just smashed a steel lock with little efort. "Y...yeah I guess your right, sorry." The man managed to stammer as he exited the batting cage and bolted from the building. Shair grinned and blew the hair out of her face as she watched him run, she then closed the batting cage door as best she could and started up the pitching machine.

After an hour of batting practice the officials that rant he batting cages requested that Shaira stop hitting the balls at the pitching machine as they were beginning to cause actual damage to the machine, Shaira agreed but soon after became bored and left the batting cages deciding to try and find something else to do with her time.
