This planet is a huge rocky wasteland, but with a huge boiling ocean over half its surface, too... the ocean is crude oil. It's also very hot crude oil. But it never catches fire because there's no oxygen here. Step on this planet and you'll find yourself choking as your lungs burn from the acidic gases, even if you're a changeling. Only spacesuits, for some reason, can survive here. The plot depends on them being undamaged. No Dragon Balls here. Get to the second page of this topic and you can leave... if you survive, that is.

Now that the other two are gone, Shiro pilots the ship into the atmosphere of avery barron planet. He looks out the window and cringes. Doesn't exactly look friendly out there, does it?

Shiro took out his radar. Can't tell if there's one here or not. Guess there's only one way to be sure. He thought, sighing and wiping his forehead.

Wow, it's hot here. And the ship's designed to stay at a constant temperature. Which means it's gotta be REALLY hot outside. Shiro thought as he fanned himself and looked for a specific button.

There it is. Shiro pressed the button and heard a small suction sound as the ship drew in a little of the planet's atmosphere. He started to fan himself again as he waited for the results.

A high pitched bing told him that the results were in, and he looked at a small side screen. 0% oxygen, huh? That's gonna make this difficult. Not to mention really dangerous.

He looked out the window again, and frowned. Let's see, should I use a space suit and fry from exposure to the heat, or stay in the ship and fly it around? Yeah, really tough question.

Shiro put the ship in 'atmospheric mode' and it began to fly over the planet's surface. Shiro looked out the window, looking around for any signs of a dragon ball. I can't see anything from up here.

With a sigh Shiro stopped the ship and stood. Guess that means I HAVE to use the suit. I just hope I don't melt in it. He thought as he walked into a back room, pulling out one of the space suits.

About forty minutes later, Shiro puts on the helmet. Why do they make these things so hard to put on? Wouldn't it be a problem if the ship's leaking or something?

Shiro walks into the airlock and closes the door behind him, listening to the ship suck the good air out before opening the door outside. A wave of heat washed over Shiro, and he suddenly felt like it was a bad idea to come here. I just hope it's worth it.

Shiro steps out of the ship and looks down. He's floating over a large, darkly colored, boiling sea. I really hope the dragon ball isn't at the bottom of that.

Shiro shook his head, sending droplets of sweat flying onto the bowl of his helmet. The little beads instantly evaporated, causing the glass to fog up. As if this wasn't hard enough.

Shiro brought his hand up and wiped his helmet, forgetting that since the fog was inside the bowl, wiping the outside wouldn't help. So he tried blowing it away, but that didn't really help either. Infact, it only caused his mouth to dry out and his helmet to fog up even more.

Shiro turned and floated back inside the ship, the door closing behind him. He waited until the second door opened before taking off his helmet and wiping it out. "So if I can't see from the ship, and I can't see in the suit, how am I supposed to find that stupid ball?"

Shiro sits back in the captain's seat as he thinks. I could try flying low to the ground. I'll just have to be careful not to scrape against anything.

Shiro once more grabs the controls, pulling his hands back as they touch the burning metal. Even if there isn't a dragon ball here, this would be a good place to hide one. Only a Changeling could survive here, and even they'd have trouble getting it from the ocean.

Shiro wraps his hands in his scarf before grabbing the controls again. Thankfully, the fabric didn't burst into flame, and actually proved quite effective at keeping his hands from feeling the heat. Now, I still have to figure out where to start looking.

Couric materialized within the spaceship a few feet away from wherever Shiro was, immediately grimacing as he became aware of just how humid and hot it was within the craft.
"Just...where the hell are we...?"

Despite the heat, Couric had managed to fall asleep in mid-air, arms folded behind his head to support it and protect it in case he fell. Letting out a mixture of a yawn and a groan, he looked around, noticing that they were likely still on the disgustingly warm planet.

/Is there even a Dragon Ball on this planet...?/ He asked himself as he floated over to a nearby wall, accidentally touching it. And his hand immediately recoiled, the teen swearing under his breath since the damn thing had been hot enough to burn his hand.

"Damn! The wall's that hot!?" He muttered, shaking his hand wildly as though it were on fire or something.
/That's insane!/

Cajabe forms in to view in the ship, between Couric and Shiro... he folds his arms, and has already begun to focus... "It's time. Let's get moving, Couric."

"You have no idea how much I want to get off this hell hole right now." Couric muttered, not mentioning a certain fact about the planet to Cajabe. After all, even if he did ask if Cajabe had a radar, the reading wouldn't be all that accurate considering the previous attempts.

"Understandable... there's too much damn heat in here... I can't imagine how awful it must be to go outside..." He has a lock, but he takes his time to bring his power up to its maximum in preparation.

Couric took a quick look towards the atmospheric details and grimaced.
"Without a spacesuit, it's instant death. An instantly horrifically painful one probably..." The teen replied, not even wanting to consider what would happen if they stepped outside.

Cajabe clenches his fists, and steadily draws out his aura around him... careful not to damage the ship... "Probably..." He's generating ki for now, not ready to leave yet.

"Well, at least Shiro's here..." Couric muttered. /Which means he probably searched well enough on his own while we were gone...that and there's no real way to get at a Dragon Ball if it's stuck in that liquid.../ He thought.
"Let's just hope we can escape the planet's atmosphere before the ship bursts into flames or something..."

Now ready, Cajabe walks toward Couric, saying... "Ready to go?" He'll be reaching out to put a hand on Couric's shoulder.
