I noticed that Desperations almost always guarantee a tie, so I've had to think of a way to make sure there's a chance of stopping someone...
Notes: You can only use your desperation attack while you're at Weakened and your opponent is not.
While executing a desperation (not counting charge posts), quadruple your power (so in most cases, with Weakened 50%, you'd get 50%x4 = 200%) temporarily. This represents the massive release of everything you have left.
However, your endurance and evasion are completely unaffected by the boost of a Desperation, so not only are you no better at avoiding hits, but if you take any hits while executing your desperation, you'll take huge damage and might find yourself unable to finish.
A desperation must be activated within the first 2 posts of Weakened.
You can only use your desperation once per battle per day. Eating a senzu bean or being rejuvenated in some other way doesn't give you a second shot later.
While you're using a desperation, your opponent cannot use any 'once per battle' techniques.
One last thing... you can never use a desperation to kill another character. At most, a desperation will beat an opponent to the point they can no longer fight, therefore resulting in a double-defeat or double-KO.
Notice that now, if you get hit while using a Desperation, it may be cancelled because you don't gain any endurance from desperations (and to actually make it possible to hit someone to take advantage of this in the first place I removed evasion, too).
You're still as enduring as when at Weakened.
