How many techniques are you permitted to learn?

As much as you like.
In this RP, you can learn one technique PER star you have.
You start off with one star, and you gain one every 100 posts, which is easy enough. This isn't counting the signature one you start out with, so when you first join, you'll have two techniques available.

Ah, alright. I read that star system thing and was kinda confused on one of the examples given, but thanks.
If you do lock these, I deem it lockable! Time to make a person. . .

Question number 2! When first accepted, with your 10,000 Post, you get one star, ok I get that.
Now seeing how you get one star, and a technique is, what, 20 post, you need to get 80 post of RP to get another technique? And if so, any propositions on how to earn these 80 post any other way? I saw fighting, but I'd wanna get techniques first, lol.

Well, your character starts on Vegeta, correct?
Just go take a look in the Vegeta board, open up either Wilderness or Cities, then pick one of the threads there (if you picked cities this'll most likely be the Cities thread, unless you want to make your own personal location like some people do), and start writing about what your character is doing. Post-by-post... just string it all together a few lines at a time.
Though, you may want to have your character head to the cities and in to the 'Dojo' thread there, which can be done with a few posts of writing how your character travels there, too. Then learn your first technique.

Welcome to the site of the postwhores. XD
Some of us have done 100 a time... in fact, one day, I got myself like 400 on this site in one day. I just went nuts.
Anyways, until you hit 210 posts the best idea is to fight someone. I have Harvest and Cajabe on Vegeta, and there's also Lann who's training out there (his typing isn't the best, however, but he's not as bad as he used to be XD). Because before 210 posts, all boosts are doubled... so if you fight someone for 20 posts, and lose, you gain 60 (x3) free posts instead of 30 (x1.5). See the Boosts board for more info on this. Anyways, did you see that? 20 posts of fighting... 60 posts of boosts... total of 80! How convenient. >3
I'll be on as Harvest later today... I've got some stuff to do right now.

I hate you.
But anyway she's kinda true my posting isn't he best, untill i get into something i'm really excited about then, i take a little longer typing everything thing out, any way i'm looking for a fight and i'm not that much stronger then you, so just hit me up if you need me.

Coolsome. XD
Anyways, I should've said... meeting with other characters isn't always about battles... sometimes some really random stuff happens just for lulz so you both have something to post about. If you head in to Vegeta's cities you can find Harvest and Lann fighting, and you could talk to Lann after it's over. Maybe find out about the Vegeta Tournament and sign up for it (the tourney itself won't begin until after the timeskip, so you'll have plenty of chance to train for it).
If you want an example of random non-battle stuff when characters meet, go check out Training with Goku on the Grand Kai's Planet for Julia and Couric. o.O XD

But don't I have to die to go train with Goku on the Grand Kai's planet? Lol

No on two counts.
First, I was saying for you to look there, and read the posts with your eyes, because I was giving you an example of a non-battle encounter of lulz.
Secondly, you can go to the Kai World even if you're alive, which is how Julia's able to be there even though she's alive. ...though you'll need to learn Universal Transmission or get a Yardrat to take you if you want to get there in the first place.

Ah, well I already read all their stuff on that planet. Lol. And that'll have to be a move I'll learn.

New question. Upgrading a dojo tech takes 10 stars - This applies to signature techniques too if you wish to add onto them, correct?

Signature techniques can be tweaked as much as you like, but actually making a significant upgradish change is the same, yeah... 10 stars.

Don't be fooled. I'm willing to help someone new understand the workings of this site better, but I'm still very selfish and disrespectful in the end. <_<
