When you die, you get a halo, and lose every single item you hold, apart from zenie and clothing.
WHEN YOU DIE, YOU MUST POST DROPPING ALL OF YOUR ITEMS THAT YOU HELD.
If you were killed by a ki/energy blast of enough power, some or all of your items will have been destroyed.
Post which ones, and try to make sense about it.
Dragon Balls are entirely indestructible, and so will never be destroyed.
Once dead, you go to the check-in station and report to King Yemma.
If you have positive karma, King Yemma will send you to Heaven.
If you have a negative karma, King Yemma will condemn you to Hell.
If your karma is zero, but your alignment is 'good', you're sent to Heaven.
If your karma is zero, but your alignment is 'evil' you're sent to Hell.
If your karma is zero, and your alignment is 'neutral' then you can go anywhere in Other World you want!
If you are a Kai, you stay where you died, and eventually get up all rejuvinated (if during battle, you must wait 10 turns)... but you're still considered 'dead'.
Vaporized Kais
If a Kai dies, and their body is vaporized before the 10 turns have passed, they are forced to go to the Check-in-Station and go through the whole King Yemma procedure. However, once they've been checked in to Heaven or Hell, they're free to travel as they otherwise would be allowed to from then on.
Transformations and Power Boosts
The approximate length of time you can sustain any transformation is doubled while you're dead, because the dead have much more stamina and much less requirements than living bodies.
So for any Full Power Changeling Form, you lose 1% every 2 posts, instead of every 1.
Also, all levels of Kaioken cost 1 less Kaioken Post (meaning you can sustain Kaiokenx2 as if it were Kaiokenx1), while also...
While using Kaiokenx1, you regain a Kaioken Post every post.
While not using Kaioken at all, you regain 2 Kaioken Posts every post.
Note, however, that when using 'Death by Kaioken' methods 1 and 2, you may not use Kaiokenx2, but must use Kaiokenx3 or higher.
Heaven and the Kai World
Look for a kai in heaven (make them up), speak to them, and they will take you to the Kai World if you want.
Hell and the Demon World
Infinite Losers may use the Demon World Portal to get to and from the Demon World.
Karma
If you are in heaven with 100 karma, you can trade it all in for one day (a real day) of life.
If you are in HFIL with -100 karma, you can use your negative energy to break free and return to the living world for a day (real day).
When using your karma like this, you must contact a staff member before you can be set free.
Battle Extensions
Just in case you get in to a battle and your opponent or you have to go offline and put it on hold, and then your time runs out, you'll be allowed to stay alive until your battle ends.
Only once the battle ends will you suddenly return to the Other World.
Living Kai Karma
Sacrificing 100 Karma, a good Kai can bring a character of their choice back to life.
Sacrificing -100 Karma, an evil Kai can bring a character of their choice back to life as a slave to do their bidding. The slave remains under control until they defeat the Kai in one-on-one combat.
In both cases, the Kai dies, and a staff member must be contacted.
