After returning to Namek with his recently learned technique, Issilude began work helping the Namekians rebuild their cities. With his skill with magic, clever mind, and the two ki dragons Billy and Jimmy helping him as grunt labor, Issilude proved an invaluable help to there efforts. After a year of working in this way, Namek was restored to its former glory and Issilude felt that Orca, the Namekian he had met prior to fighting Ecky, could now rest in peace. With Namek restored and Guru’s encouragement, Issilude decided to explore the Universe and learn about the myriad races and cultures in it and perhaps even find his home world. Issilude agreed with the idea and set off. He chose a planet at random and flew through space to Vegeta, home world of the Saiyans.
Shortly after arriving on the planet, Issilude met up with Shiro, the human he had met after arriving on Earth as a result of his granduncle’s teleportation spell. He learned that Earth had been restored shortly before he himself arrived on Namek and that Shiro had been spending his time acting as a guardian to the planet and had been forced into taking a vacation by Earth’s actual guardian. Issilude, noticing the bags under his friends eyes and having counted at least six yawns during his monologue, couldn’t help but agree with the guardian. And so he decided that, along with his studies of the race, he would try his best to make sure Shiro actually did relax, instead of just run off to the dojo to work out.
The two travelled together for a week, swapping stories about what happened to them the year before. Eventually they came across the Saiyan capital and heard about a tournament being held there. Shiro tried to sign up, but was considered too powerful and instead signed up for Issilude. Issilude tried to convince Shiro to let him go back and quit, claiming, with good reason, that he was no good at fighting, but Shiro wouldn’t let him. “Then you could use the experience,” the older fighter said. “You’ll never know when you may be forced to fight.” Issilude had to agree with that logic and so let himself be entered. It wasn’t long after that the two left the planet, each going their separate ways.
Again Issilude set his course for a random planet, this time finding himself on a beautiful planet populated by black skinned beings wearing turbans. He learned that these creatures were called Genies, and that this planet was their home. Issilude fell in love with the planet, and spent two years here, practicing his more practical magic. His skills grew as he learned and developed more and more powerful spells. It turns out that the genies were a highly magical race, like his own, and they were more than happy to teach him what they knew. Issilude also found himself learning other things, such as natural medicines and cooking. His talents continued to grow, much like himself.
Issilude’s sixteenth birthday came and went while he was on this planet. This was a day he’d been anticipating for years, as it was the day his true powers as a mage would begin to awaken. And to symbolize this growth, Issilude awoke to find himself with amber colored eyes, just like his father, grandfather, granduncle, and all other mages from his home world. Needless to say, he was beyond proud of that. He also took it as a sign to move on. He’d already been on the planet of the Genies for a year; he needed to go somewhere else. And he decided to visit Earth once more. He wanted to catch up with Korin and meet the guardian of the Earth that Shiro had mentioned.
So Issilude returned to where his adventures all began. Immediately he went to visit Korin and spoke with the cat, showing him the tricks he had learned over the years he’d gone. He then flew up to the Lookout, guided by Korin’s directions. There he met Noru and Popo and was instantly welcomed by the pair, having heard about him from Shiro. He stayed here for a couple of days, getting to know the two. On the last day of his visit, Shiro arrived, and Noru asked Issilude to place a spell on Shiro. It was a relatively simple spell, a constant tranquilizer that would keep the overeager-for-training Shiro from over working himself for a year.
After that, Issilude decided it was time he start searching for his home world. However, that proved to be as difficult as finding the wizards, as he had nothing to go on. So he decided to just hopscotch around the worlds, visiting, for differing periods of time and among many others; a planet filled with taking, joking chickens; a planet made of dung jelly; a planet of purest ice inhabited by a creature that looked like the yeti; a planet surrounded by a noxious cloud of its own flatulence; and one that looked vaguely like earth, except everyone lived INSIDE the planet, walking on the outer crust. However, Issilude's been forced to cut his search short, as the tournament on Vegeta begins. Currently he waits at the arena, feeling awfully weak compared to the others around him.
