Then, finally, the overshirt and undershirt of the common Kai attire forms with the gloves and boots where they would be if a person were wearing all of the items as normal.

"Not bad, Sir Oryan. You've crafted a fine set of traditional clothing. I take it this means you'll be changing clothes, soon, correct?" Gendo asked.
Oryan just nodded, but he started gathering energy once again. This would be the first sword he ever forged and he wanted it to be good.

"I'm not done just yet, Gendo. Every Knight needs a blade. I'm about to forge my own."
As Oryan spoke, a large amount of energy began to accumulate in both hands once again.

"I see, Sir Oryan. That is a fitting weapon for one of your title." Gendo's reply is short, but Oryan gets the point.
Oryan places both hands in front of himself, as if he were holding a sword already. The energy in his palms is still increasing even now.

Oryan stopped gathering energy now and he began to focus on what he wanted his blade to look like. It needed to be elegant, but powerful. He also took speed into account, so making it too large would be ridiculous.

A blade on each side of the steel, and a wrapped leather handle. A 'T' shaped hand guard to connect the handle and the blade. The pommel will be a diamond shape.

At first the energy extended from his hands upward by a large degree and barely appeared from the bottom. It took on the knightly 't' shape that many swords have.

Starting from the tip, a slight indent began to bore its way down each side of the blade, making the platinum blade much lighter, yet still sturdy enough for high caliber combat.

Once the bore reached the bottom, the hand guard thinned out and became more sleek. The tips of the hand guard curved upward slightly. Yes, that's the way. It's almost finished.

The metal handle began to cover itself in a thin layer of composite wooden material. This would drastically reduce recoil to the wielder, especially when coupled with the tight and sturdy leather grip.

When the sword finished forming, it was truly a sight to behold. No doubt that Oryan had put a great deal of thought not only into the appearance of the blade, but the functionality of it as well.

"Now I'll try my hand at the technique that our interplanetary transportation service uses. The Kai method of transmission will definitely be useful," Oryan says as he walks back over to the book an flips through the pages.

As he flips through the pages looking to find the Kai transmission technique and the information on it, he sees another technique that catches his eye and he makes a mental note of it.

Here it is. Alright, lets see... By focusing on the image of somewhere the user has previously been, it is possible to connect that area of space with the one the user is currently in using their Ki.

They can then step through the connection path in order to reach the place they have envisioned in their mind. Hhhmm...what an interesting technique....

He then spots a sub-entry just below the one he'd finished reading. The user will have to expend a rather large amount of energy and prolonged focus in order to make the jump through the connection path.

For these reasons, the Kai Transmission method is not conventional in battle since, not only does it require such focus and energy that it would leave the user vulnerable, but it can also only reach an area that the user has already been.

Hhhmmm....so it's only good for traveling purposes. Still, I think I may have a way to change that. I'll give it a shot. Oryan steps away from the book and looks to Gendo. "Alright, I'm gonna try this one solo."

Oryan takes several steps away from Gendo, going almost fifteen feet from him. "A short distance should be good to start with." He thinks aloud as he starts to focus.

Oryan closes his eyes and takes a moment to form the image of his previous standing place next to Gendo. His energy started to surge throughout his body.

Now that his energy is at its peak and his concentration is at its best, Oryan gives one last surge of power and details the image in his mind in preparation for the jump.

The next moment when Oryan opened his eyes, he was standing next to Gendo and feeling very out of breath from the amount of energy he'd used up learning techniques up to this point.

"Huff...huh...Okay, that sub-entry in the book was NOT joking around when it talked about using a lot of energy," Oryan said with a chuckle in between heavy breaths.

"No time to waste, though." Oryan thinks aloud again as he turns from Gendo and begins to sprint across the training fields, dodging various attacks launched by all the training Kais.

Once Oryan had reached almost the edge of the side of the training fields opposite that of Gendo, he began to focus on the same image as before.

This one is going to require a lot more energy to close the distance. I can't imagine how much it would take for interplanetary travel, and yet the Kais at the transporter service do this without breaking a sweat....

This time Oryan's energy built up more quickly than before, likely because he knew he'd need a lot more to cover the distance. His aura slowly began to form around him as he focused.

Oryan didn't close his eyes this time. In order to use such a technique in combat, which he planned to do, he'd have to be able to concentrate on his opponent while he prepared to teleport.

One more final burst of energy and even more concentration than he put into his meditation...It was clear to Oryan that after this, he was gonna need to take a break or something.

Suddenly Oryan felt his body being pulled through the invisible and incredibly short pathway. A bright flash of white light blurred his vision as he passed through.
